Training for Food Handlers
An introduction to HACCP is designed specifically for food handlers. It is aimed at those who are required to work with food on a regular basis and who are expected to support the implementation and maintenance of HACCP and food safety standards.
It is designed as a ½ day course and will be adapted to match to the needs of the food handlers and their workplace. The course introduces the main hazards associated with food safety. It puts the principles of food safety and food safety law into simple practical easy to understand terms, helping food handlers to better appreciate their role in the management of food safety. Those attending will be expected to complete a simple end of course assessment.
